Well there is this girl I like but I've never talked to her before. She was in one my classes and she used to stare at me quite a bit, I have the hunch she felt something.

But anyway I needed an excuse to talk to her so I devised something. I'm going to message her on myspace but I'm going to pretend I ment to message someone else. See there was this girl in my class last year who sat in front me and she has the same name as the girl I like. And they both look similar. So I am going to pretend that I searched up that other girl and then ask her some random question. The girl I like will be all confused and then I'll be like "oh im so sorry i thought you were someone else! blah blah" and then just introduce myself so I don't seem rude and hopefully something happens from there!

i think that the best thing to do would be to grow a good set of testicles, and just go talk to her, it would be totally obvious, and i would be surprised if she even responded to you the first time, you need to just go up to her and talk, introduce yourself in person, what do you think that people did into the late 90's before myspace? just do it.

You're putting waaay too much thought and effort into this. Just be honest and strike up a regular conversation and see where that goes. I know that sounds boring but it's real. Whatever happens, happens. If she likes you for real it will be evident. Don't play games, they'll drive you crazy. Let go of the control factor.

umm just write her a letter (handwritten) and give it to her in person. you're making it more complicated with that myspace thing. why dont you just go on myspace, request her as a friend, and start with "hi". sometimes, the simplest things work the best.

I find that the direct approach works well. Girls dont like to feel tricked into talking to you. Feel free to use one of my pickup lines such as "How do you like your eggs in the morning? Start with the truth. Talk to her straight and ask her if she remembers you. Strike up conversation from there. Be true to yourself and to her.

Weelll I guess you could try doing this but you should just try talking to her in class. I think you should try messaging her if really think its a good idea but she might not reply back if you say sorry you look like some one else. I've done it. One guy tried to talk to me like that instead of coming up to me in class he pretended to think I was some one else. Right after he said he thought I was some one else I didn't reply back to him. Then my friend told me the next day that he liked me and wanted to talk to me.

I give you some credit, you're a smooth operator. You have to use all avenues in this day and age, and the internet, myspace idea is brillant. It's a great way for her to learn more about you too, as she get's to read your profile and see what you're all about. Just don't have anything on that page you do not want her to know about you. Be sure to flatter her when noticing that she is not the other girl that you were trying to hit up. You can mention how much they look alike, but be sure to throw in some compliments that differentiate and make her outshine from the other girl (without dogging the other girl - LOL). Good luck!

If you have her myspace info I think you should message her %26amp; be honest. If you tell her you didn't mean to message her she might get the idea that you don't like her %26amp; that you like the other girl %26amp; the only reason you're talking to her is because it was an accident.

I dont think it is a good idea, you should just go up to her one day, in person, and just start a conversation, ask her about summer, or about how stupid something is, make it a light conversation. Tell her at the end of the conversation that it was nice talking to her and you hope to talk to her again. Girls like it when a guy can go right up to her and not be intimidated, girls dont like to be stuck guessing either, so just be normal and just start a normal conversation!
