There is this girl that I have been friends with for a long time and I was content with being friends with her until one time when I was talking with her and it dawned on me that I wanted more than that. But before I could ask her out or even just tell her how I feel an idiot "friend" of mine told her that I said some things about her that I did not say in the first place. which of course made her mad and led to us not speaking for a few month's.

When we came to be on speaking terms again (Due to the magic of Myspace) We were back to the usual state of our friendship and she had just broken up with her boyfriend and I tried my best to make her feel better whenever we talked or e-mailed eachother.

Just recently though my friend has told me that she wanted me to ask her out (Before the Few month's of no talking) but she told my friend that she wanted me to find out on my own which is a mystery to me how I was supposed to do that in the first place.

What should I do now?

Dude I cant really say because I dont really know either of you and I have no idea how she wil react but just wing it! Just say how you feel, because most likely she feels the same way about you too! I mean come on and go ask her tell her say something!!!!!!

If she wants you to ask her out, do it!! She's probably nervous to make the first move since it could ruin the friendship if you rejected her. Friendship is a great base for a good relationship. My current boyfriend is a former friend, so, take it from me, it's worth it if it works out!!

if she told YOUR friend, it's because she wanted you to know... dat's so obvious..... everyone uses the opposite's "friend" as a "messenger".

and at least now u know she liked you at some point. Hang out with her and kiss her when the mood is right, don't even try to ask her out. if she kisses you back, great....if she gets upset tell her that you thought she liked you and get mad at her before she gets mad AT YOU!. reverse psychology =] works like a charm !! LOL!
