Let me start my saying that i'm 24 yrs old and a really great guy who's had some amazing relationships. That being said, i've never innitiated a relationship and in most cases I was really great friends with a girl and then it just naturally progressed.

Now, i'm out of college and work alone and don't have any friends where i currently live. i'm an amazingly outgoing person with people i know but equally as shy when it comes to people that i don't, so making friends and/or a girlfriend seems rather impossible!

I know exactly what type of girl i'm looking for(smart, witty, creative, sweet, kind, attractive) but I don't know how to find her and if i did, i wouldn't know how to approach her.

i think your best option is local clubs/bars. you can bob around by yourself without looking like a fool, everyone seems to be with everyone on the dancefloor.

sit at the bar for a bit and when a girl goes to buy a drink and the bar tender says "thats $5 please" or whatever say "ill get that for you" and pay for her. then she should say thanks and you can go "im *whatever your name is*" then she'll say im sarah or whatever. then start on you from around here, then ask something about what to do around the area. if she likes you the convo should flow, if she doesnt she'll go, just repeat the process with another girl until you get chatting to one you like.

then just say can i have your number? so i can take you out sometime?

dont try to look for someone.. in time, someone amazing and what your looking for will come.. so just live life until you have to be tied down.. though i am not saying go out and have tons of sex, but just enjoy yourself.

If and when you DO meet her, just be yourself- a girl knows EXACTLY when someone's acting out of character and it'll just annoy her. The best thing to do is either be friends with her first, or act hot and cold- i.e interested sometimes, not interested at others. But be warned- don't ignore her completely! Many girls enjoy the chase and it'll make her more attracted to you if you're mysterious.

Lastly, have confidence. It'll do your relationships, and your life, wonders.
