What is the Point in so many fake profiles on Myspace?

When I get home and it is late and I hit the browse button on Myspace...in my area so many profiles come up. It will have one (usually attractive pic of a girl) and then no other pics, nothing on the profile really, and maybe 1 friend...(Tom). What is the point in all of these profiles cluddering up everything. They dont seem to advertise anything unless they have some type of porn link. But it seems anyone who is anyone would realize this profile is fake and not mess with it. Who exactly are the people who create all these fake profiles and list them from my local area and all over. Is this some type of job they get payed to do or do people just do it to do it?

Myspace is a mess. A lot of invites you get are strictly for advertisement purposes. I would suggest you try facebook.com, which has a much cleaner interface, it's less cluttered, and the code is not as messy.

In my case, if I were ever to get a fake profile, it would be to get me used to the "Myspace experience" and make me a bit braver. Some people can't get a real one because their parents don't want them too. I have a friend who has a fake Myspace, and she had a fight with her real Myspace just for one. It's completely opposite of her, all preppy and cliquey. Some people may want to express an alter ego they have... who knows?

If you have a group project you have to do, ask her to be in your group. That way, you'll have to spend time with eachother. When your class is over, just start talking to her. You will mlost likely end up talking to her until you have to go to your next class. Figure out who her friends are, and begin to talk to them too. Try and get your group of friends to do stuff with her group of friends. Talk to her every moment you get, and you two will get to know eachother better and better. Also, if you play any sport, ask her to come to your game.

Can you walk her to her next class, or something low-key but better for conversation than in the middle of a class that needs your attention? You can always ask her to study with you.

You need to start telling her what you'll be doing after school. If anything you mention seems to sound interesting to her, invite her to join you. Since you already myspace, try to get her number when you are talking to her there. Also, you could threaten to go to her game and be her biggest fan--cheering the loudest whenever she is up to bat. She'll probably tell you not to embarass her, but she'll also welcome you to watch her game (and if you are invited, you aren't weird).

This girl this year, used me so much. It got to an extent to I have made 2 suicide attempts. Last time I saw a doctor was back in April. Its December now and I still find my self thinking about her. Not as in I love her, but as in is she still happy for what she has done. I find my self snooping out her myspace. Talk to a friend or relative, explain what you're feeling, or write it to her in a letter. You don't have to send it, but just writing it down will help. the best thing you can do is try to never see her, try not to think about her and soon other people will come into focus. You should stop beating yourself up about it though, just tell yourself that it was in the past, and you can't go back in time so theres no point in stressing over things in the past.
